Building community, growing our garden

Welcome to our blog, which chronicles our journey to bring beauty to our neighborhood as we strengthen our community.  Neighbors have joined together with dedication to caring for this space and making it a place where people can come together to work for the common good.  When we started, the grass was as tall as the fence, litter cans were not being emptied, and weeds had overtaken the garden beds.  Well, except for a few hardy herbs.  And those have formed a foundation for what we hope will be a lively garden.  Come by and enjoy the smells of rosemary, oregano, lemon balm, and much more to come as we continue to build it.  And stop by to meet your neighbors on a lovely summer day.  Check out the blog for information on how to contact us and when our upcoming work days are.
